Well, I am trying to draw an anime character. =P This is a character for my webcomic, however I wanted to go for a more gritty, less cute manga style. Yeah, I have a bad habit of drawing heads too big, must make a note to fix that.

Thanks for the input, just wanted to clarify that the animu style was completely intentional. ;P

Well they're not supposed to be moving around too much, it's a bit of a cliff-hanger: so Ross is trying to steal a kiss and Nort is not letting him, and then pow! pretty fireworks going off somewhere on the left, off screen, and Ross turns to watch; meanwhile seeing Ross's awareness slipping for a sec, Nort is trying to push some snow under Ross's collar, for which he needs to be cautious and not make a false move. So they both end up almost still for a moment.

i see you know the main problem already being the atonomy the other is to much empty space it feels to empty good attempt at the paint style tho i like that

this is great just i wosh u had more tones on the silk specter and the comedians face is very squished

Yeah, I forgot to go back and pencil in the ebony in silk spectre's hair, and yeah the comedian is a bit squished but keep in mind I did not grid this drawing out, I simply just looked at some pictures and put them together

try less fan art of the same old over rated animes n try some origenal pieces

also try to scan your images if your in highschool your school should have a few at the very least lastly tho this is the only upload you have that is art portal worthy you shouldnt get discouraged keep practising i can tell you know stuff you jusst need more practise this image is pritty good decent shading good depth just missing the neck but you already relize this

I read this over again and frankly pay attention to what I have told you.
I "had" no scanner to use, I don't know where your from but the schools' scanners around my area are worse than my home scanner, which frankly I uploaded a single picture on... never again...

I do fan art because I WANT TO, like shit... get this through your head I will draw what I want to draw, you have no right to tell me what I should or shouldn't draw.

I will also disagree with how this is the only "worthy" thing for the art portal... I say "worthy" because... lets face it the art portal is a terrible thing right now, it needs a massive overhaul and reworking... but I doubt that will ever happen, but I tend to think that my Gaara picture, and Sasuke/Naruto mixed picture is "worthy".

Since you have no way to respond thanks to Newgrounds ingenious design... I frankly am going to stop... and keep the rest of my argument to myself because it'll just turn into my opinion over yours --_--
